Gunther Mueller is Dr. Brad Miller’s guest on Episode 197 of “The Beyond Adversity Podcast.”

When confronted with this dilemma, Gunther realized that the most effective and immediate remedy was to take some time off and reconsider some of his activities and the right decisions he should be made to get out of it. He discovered that you couldn’t mend what isn’t broken, and sometimes all we need is an adjustment of perspective rather than destroying everything.

As humans, we tend to avoid pain and any activities linked with it instead of focusing on pleasure. Love, Money, Health, and Miscellaneous are the four categories, and the first three buckets are frequently the source of people’s issues. If one’s identity structure doesn’t allow one to sustain the rewards of one’s labor, one’s identity structure will always feel compelled to start over.

Every creation has been made twice: once in the realm of fantasy and once in three-dimensional reality. We are never taught how to use our imagination, which is a gift we all have. There are two sorts of matter in the universe: information and energy. The data represents an intention, a genuine choice, a want, or a need for something, and the power means the related feeling. If you want something and feel what it would be like to get it, it is often not an accurate decision. When you mix pure intention, authentic decision, and emotion, the field collapses in the quantum physical universe.

Hey, Brad, thank you for having me here. Super pleasure excited to have this conversation with you.

Dr. Brad Miller:

awesome to have you with me, you've got a fascinating story to tell and lots of insights on some

Dr. Brad Miller:

of your past experiences and how they apply to the circumstances that many people find

Dr. Brad Miller:

themselves in. Let's hear your story. What I like to hear about stories from folks like you is, you've

Dr. Brad Miller:

come to this place to share in some what you call the magnetic what's called a magnetic mind.

Dr. Brad Miller:

But that meant that you come from a place before that, where there were some issues or there

Dr. Brad Miller:

was some adversities to face. And I mentioned it here a little bit your story about kind of what led

Dr. Brad Miller:

you to make some pivots here in life to this direction?

Gunther Mueller:

Well, you know, the entrepreneurial life is kind of a lonely life, sometimes you're on a road kind of

Gunther Mueller:

by yourself. And you know, in my 30-year career, probably had to reinvent myself, five, six times.

Gunther Mueller:

And so when you use the word adversity, I've had my fair share, and my fair share experience of

Gunther Mueller:

adversity, everything in every category of life, whether it's financial or relationship wise, or health

Gunther Mueller:

wise, I've had challenges in all of those areas and have overcome them very successfully. So, I've

Gunther Mueller:

gotten to the point in my life, where I just really enjoy sharing, let's say, the mindset or the

Gunther Mueller:

understanding of the quantum physical field, and the power of our ability to choose what comes

Gunther Mueller:

next. And so that's kind of what the magnetic mind method is all about. And, you know, you learn

Gunther Mueller:

from your life. Well, you know, they always say, hindsight is 2020, right, you can look back on your

Gunther Mueller:

life. And you can kind of see how you got to where you are today. And you can kind of connect

Gunther Mueller:

the dots and see the choices and the decisions and, you know, the roads you travel and all that

Gunther Mueller:

has made you who you are today. So, in every present moment that we experience, you know,

Gunther Mueller:

what's done is kind of done, but we do get to choose what comes next. And so, you know, knowing

Gunther Mueller:

what type of an experience we would just love to have in this life is kind of where the magic starts.

Dr. Brad Miller:

Yeah. But you mentioned about to making some choices, and you What's done is done. But we all

Dr. Brad Miller:

have these experiences in life that some folks get stuck, you know, some folks have bad things

Dr. Brad Miller:

happen to them, and they stay stuck there. I like to call it the malaise of mediocrity, we just kind of

Dr. Brad Miller:

stay stuck in misery or whatever it is. And you had some Chair of your challenges there, as you

Dr. Brad Miller:

mentioned. But then you took some action. And I'm interested, I'm interested for just a moment or

Dr. Brad Miller:

two here about what were some of the specific actions that you took Gunther to do this pivot in

Dr. Brad Miller:

your life to what you're doing now. What are some of the things you did?

Gunther Mueller:

Yeah, give me an example. The latest, you know, event was at the end of 2017, I had built a rather

Gunther Mueller:

large business in about three years, multi seven figure business, and I received a phone call at the

Gunther Mueller:

end of that year took about 90 seconds to tell me that the contracts that I had in place, were now

Gunther Mueller:

null and void. And they were deciding to go in a different direction. So as you can imagine,

Dr. Brad Miller:

it's banking. That takes your breath, that's a kind of phone call, it takes your breath away, I would

Dr. Brad Miller:

assume.

Gunther Mueller:

That's right. And so you know, I haven't had other experiences like that, in the past, not quite as

Gunther Mueller:

dramatic. The last one was the most dramatic one. And you can imagine a cold sweat comes over

Gunther Mueller:

your body, you're like, what am I going to do next? Everything that I loved doing immediately, in

Gunther Mueller:

90 seconds came to a halt. And this was right before Christmas time in 2017. And it was quite

Gunther Mueller:

shocking. So the action step that I took was at first I had to, you know, really think about I took

Gunther Mueller:

some time off, I had the resources to take some time off. And I really contemplated what's next for

Gunther Mueller:

me. What is it? And what I noticed was I was in this oscillating cycle where I had the total

Gunther Mueller:

ability to create amazing things and things that I love to do, they came but I was not able to hold

Gunther Mueller:

on to them. So once it became successful, and once it became amazing. There was something in

Gunther Mueller:

my identity structure that did not allow me to enjoy the fruits of my labor, let's say and I had

Gunther Mueller:

noticed this oscillation in the cyclical pattern in my life. And it was at that point after that last

Gunther Mueller:

event I said this is going to change. So I went on a hunt, I went on a search for understanding why

Gunther Mueller:

as a personality or as a being, I was in this oscillating pattern of creating amazing things, but not

Gunther Mueller:

able to keep them. And so after about a two years search, I really figured out how to step out of

Gunther Mueller:

that how to, and you know, I really come with a message of Look, you're not broken, and there's

Gunther Mueller:

nothing to fix. And I work some with some of the big names in the personal development space.

Gunther Mueller:

And what I find I feel like the personal development space is broken, because it keeps you coming

Gunther Mueller:

back to fix some aspect of yourself so that you can have what you want.

Dr. Brad Miller:

Yeah. So in what you're saying is, is that you just maybe shift the focus, but you're not broken?

Dr. Brad Miller:

You're just doing something different? Is that, is that fair? Yeah, focus

Gunther Mueller:

is everything right? Because I'm going to say most of us after events like that, or, you know, life kicks

Gunther Mueller:

everybody in the teeth from time to time. And, you know, one of my great mentors 30 years ago,

Gunther Mueller:

was Les Brown. He's an amazing speaker. And I always remember him saying that, look, if you're

Gunther Mueller:

going to fall down, fall, fall down on your back, because if you can look up, you can get up.

Dr. Brad Miller:

That's a great one. That's a great, yeah. So you go, you took a search, I'm just, I mentioned in this

Dr. Brad Miller:

searcher that you had now you searched, led you to understand you weren't broken. No, and

Dr. Brad Miller:

others aren't broken in this product, what you teach here, but there does something just have to

Dr. Brad Miller:

change. So things shifts.

Gunther Mueller:

So what needs to change is the identity structure. And people basically have the top six self

Gunther Mueller:

sabotaging identity structures sound like this, they sound like I'm not good enough. I'm not worthy.

Gunther Mueller:

I don't belong. I'm not capable, that something has happened in life where we made decisions and

Gunther Mueller:

choices about the way we are or the way the world is. And it was evidenced just by maybe a

Gunther Mueller:

painful event or a traumatic event or something like that. Because I think human life is pretty

Gunther Mueller:

simple. We try to avoid pain, and we seek pleasure as we can, right. And I think there's three

Gunther Mueller:

buckets in life that people have desires in and I'll call them just money, love and health. Okay?

Gunther Mueller:

There might be a fourth bucket we'll call miscellaneous. But most people's problems, quote

Gunther Mueller:

unquote, problems are in one of those three buckets. Right? Wanting successful relationships,

Gunther Mueller:

wanting more abundance, wanting more health or enjoyment in their physical body,

Dr. Brad Miller:

right? Sure. Sure.

Gunther Mueller:

Yeah. And so how do you get there? Well, it will if your identity structure does not allow you like it

Gunther Mueller:

didn't allow me to sustain the fruits of my labor, there was something about my identity structure

Gunther Mueller:

that always had to go recreate it from scratch again. I wasn't

Dr. Brad Miller:

allowed to you're trying to do more or less the same thing. And over again, is that fair? Yeah, but

Gunther Mueller:

I do it in different fields, different areas, like I've been solar, I've been on restaurants, I've done

Gunther Mueller:

coffee distribution, food distribution, last 10 years, I've been in the medical space, or I've been

Gunther Mueller:

working with, you know, amazing medical professionals that are bringing life changing therapies

Gunther Mueller:

to people that are different than the allopathic, let's say medical model that we have in the United

Gunther Mueller:

States. And it's been fun, it's been exciting, helped 10s of 1000s people change their lives and feel

Gunther Mueller:

better physically. And so the next phase here is really what's going on in the mind. Because I'll tell

Gunther Mueller:

you this, everything that has ever been created, has been created twice, once in the imagination,

Gunther Mueller:

and once in the three-dimensional physical world. Wow. And I think as people we never get taught

Gunther Mueller:

to utilize this aspect that we have, which is our imagination. And even Einstein said, you know,

Gunther Mueller:

there are two things in the universe, there's information and there's energy, the information is like

Gunther Mueller:

intention, a true choice, a desire, a longing for something, and the energy is the emotion of that

Gunther Mueller:

end result. And when the two come together, where you have this feeling of what would it feel like

Gunther Mueller:

to have that which I desire now combined with the intention of wanting what I want just because I

Gunther Mueller:

want it for no other reason, because many people choose by default they choose by elimination,

Gunther Mueller:

they choose by consensus, is known as let many times is not really a true choice. But when you

Gunther Mueller:

combine that true intention, that true choice with the emotion to the end result, it's literally in the

Gunther Mueller:

quantum physical world, the present moment, the field collapses in your present moment and we

Gunther Mueller:

know this from science and from an experiment now it was back in 2001 where they figured out

Gunther Mueller:

that At the particles that they were studying these quantum physical particles, those particles

Gunther Mueller:

didn't even show up until the observer intended to work with them.

Dr. Brad Miller:

Wow, okay. Yeah, that's, that has to be that you've got to get to inertia, you cannot let a nursery

Dr. Brad Miller:

takeover, you have to get an action you have to get in movement. And that's what I love about

Dr. Brad Miller:

what you're teaching and sharing here. And also, the starts to get, you know, you start to get into

Dr. Brad Miller:

the metaphysical a little bit by understanding that there's a connection between the physical, and

Dr. Brad Miller:

the metaphysical. And let's go there for just a second about how life transformation takes place.

Dr. Brad Miller:

I believe also, when you somehow connect to something deeper, ever, there might be a higher

Dr. Brad Miller:

power, some people might call it God, some people might call it meditation or other practices.

Dr. Brad Miller:

Tell me about what you've learned about the connection between you know, the physical and the

Dr. Brad Miller:

metaphysical, the spiritual life, whatever it is what you've learned about how that is so important

Dr. Brad Miller:

for transformation take place.

Gunther Mueller:

What I've learned the most amazing thing that I've learned, and it's really coming from the

Gunther Mueller:

positive psychology space now they've done so many experiments, literally 275,000 People meta

Gunther Mueller:

analysis of over 200 studies that prove now beyond a shadow of a doubt that happiness precedes

Gunther Mueller:

success. It's like a chicken in the egg question. A lot of people think, well, the success lead to

Gunther Mueller:

happiness was happiness leads to success. Science now definitively knows that happiness actually

Gunther Mueller:

leads to success. And so you asked the question, if you Google the word happiness, you know,

Gunther Mueller:

Google says it's the state of being happy. So that doesn't help you a lot. Right? So happiness

Gunther Mueller:

really is the culmination that the top 10 positive emotions are joy, gratitude, serenity, interest,

Gunther Mueller:

hope, pride, amusement, inspiration, all and love. That's what science is find out. These are the top

Gunther Mueller:

10 positive emotions.

Dr. Brad Miller:

And for the most part, we choose those they do not, you know, we have some influence on that,

Dr. Brad Miller:

you know, we can choose whether we're going to be feeling loving towards another person or

Dr. Brad Miller:

situation, or choose joy. And Francis, just us You said you had success as an entrepreneur, people

Dr. Brad Miller:

can have a whole lot of money and be unhappy, right? I mean, we've seen all the time, people can

Dr. Brad Miller:

also be have no money and be very unhappy or happy, just as not necessarily correlation, like

Dr. Brad Miller:

some people think that it is. So that's what I love to hear what you're saying here, Gunther, is that

Dr. Brad Miller:

we can we make this choice that it does matter, happiness prior to success, because your success

Dr. Brad Miller:

isn't defined on how you continue you are?

Gunther Mueller:

Yeah, and one of the ways that we sum it up in the magnetic mind method is this phrase, we need

Gunther Mueller:

to be it now in order to see it. Actually, you need to choose to be it now. Right To Be joyful, to be

Gunther Mueller:

grateful to be hopeful to have pride in who you are and what you're doing. Have some

Gunther Mueller:

amusement, it's in life, some inspiration, be in awe of some things experience love, right? Some

Gunther Mueller:

combination of those at different times. You then describe yourself to be probably a happy

Gunther Mueller:

person.

Dr. Brad Miller:

Yeah, very similar to kind of a phrase that I learned long time ago and use on a regular basis is

Dr. Brad Miller:

simply three words be do and have it be do and then you have the the train station. So

Gunther Mueller:

the beam comes first. Well, how do we get into a state of being that which we desire before we

Gunther Mueller:

actually have it? Right? Because we know that the current reality is what it is. And there may be

Gunther Mueller:

some negative emotions wrapped up in the current reality because of pain, trauma, suffering,

Gunther Mueller:

some

Dr. Brad Miller:

sort of says life happens, you know, stuff happens, and certainly no one the COVID era last couple

Dr. Brad Miller:

of years, lots of stuff has happened. And some people have been impacted by we've all been

Dr. Brad Miller:

impacted by it. But other people have been so crushed and devastated by what other people

Dr. Brad Miller:

have managed to flourish in the process.

Gunther Mueller:

The quintessential skill is having the current reality be what it is, right? If we can get to kind of an

Gunther Mueller:

observer place and just look at the current reality and be like, that's what it is now. It's just what is

Gunther Mueller:

now and in the present moment, I'm going to choose what I would love to experience next. Having

Gunther Mueller:

that consciousness right, from the observer standpoint, that the way it is now is just the way that it

Gunther Mueller:

is. And I'm going to choose that which I want. And this is very different than being what I'm going

Gunther Mueller:

to call the problem solving reality. Okay, when you're reacting to circumstances And you're

Gunther Mueller:

responding to what's going on in the current reality, that's what you're doing. You're focused on

Gunther Mueller:

the problem. How do I solve this problem, whether it's money, bad relationship, physical disease,

Gunther Mueller:

or health or whatever it is, like, let's say cancer, for example, right? You've been diagnosed with

Gunther Mueller:

cancer and you're focused on beating cancer, I'm gonna suggest to you that a better way to be

Gunther Mueller:

focused is in the creative stance, the creator stance, to focus on the true choice of experiencing

Gunther Mueller:

optimal health and vitality. Yeah, that the more you focus the mind on the desire of experiencing

Gunther Mueller:

optimal health and vitality, and not on the problem-solving reality of how am I going to beat this

Gunther Mueller:

cancer, because what you focus on grows, focus on the cancer, that illness continues to manifest

Gunther Mueller:

and continues to grow when you change your focus. And you focus on what that which is, that's

Gunther Mueller:

what you want, you want the optimal health, whether it's I'm saying in the quantum physical mind,

Gunther Mueller:

we need to focus on that, which will you're

Dr. Brad Miller:

you're going where I want to go with you next year. Gunther, and that does have to do with the

Dr. Brad Miller:

mind of part of the process that I like to teach has a lot to do with shifting minds to how we think

Dr. Brad Miller:

with new disciplines. You know, we have old disciplines, they may lead us to some of the you

Dr. Brad Miller:

know, as you said, if you focus on the cancer, that's gonna be your mindset is cancer, destructive

Dr. Brad Miller:

force, you know, and in biblical terms, you know, I would use it to John 1010, about you know, that

Dr. Brad Miller:

I've come to give you life and life a bit of a night of evil when it comes to steal, and kill and

Dr. Brad Miller:

destroy. And I would just share with you that I'm interested now in some of the thinking, your

Dr. Brad Miller:

magnetic mindset here about new disciplines, new ways of thinking, what is this bagman this

Dr. Brad Miller:

magnetic by thing you've been? We've been talking a little bit here, that helps us to shift to a

Dr. Brad Miller:

different place.

Gunther Mueller:

Yeah, so it begins step one of the five step process is to have a true choice to have a true end

Gunther Mueller:

result. And the way you choose that you know that you're in a true choice or a true end result.

Gunther Mueller:

When if I would ask you why do you want that? You would answer me by saying I want it just

Gunther Mueller:

because I want it. If you tell me a story, why you want it, I want this thing because when I get that,

Gunther Mueller:

it's going to give me x, y and z or A, B and C, it's a stepping stone onto something else. It's not a

Gunther Mueller:

true choice. So I'll give you some examples of what a true Creator stance choice sounds like. You

Gunther Mueller:

know, in our culture, we have a lot of issues around purpose or meaning or fulfillment. So a true

Gunther Mueller:

choice would be I choose to live my true nature and purpose. It's a very global directional choice,

Gunther Mueller:

kind of like a compass looking north, okay, you just choose it, you choose to live your true nature

Gunther Mueller:

and purpose. Another one would be I choose to live the life that I love. But you have to know what

Gunther Mueller:

the ingredients are in a life that you love. So it's a very directional choice of choosing that I choose

Gunther Mueller:

to live a life that I love. Or maybe it's one that sounds like this, it's, I choose to be the predominant

Gunther Mueller:

creative force in my life. Now notice that in SAM, the only creative proximate life we live in a co

Gunther Mueller:

created universe, everybody's working out their creative reality simultaneously. But you can be the

Gunther Mueller:

predominant creative force in your life attracting to You that which you would love to experience

Gunther Mueller:

and then one of my favorite ones being in the health industry, as you know, I choose to experience

Gunther Mueller:

optimal health and vitality.

Dr. Brad Miller:

So these kind of go into category a little bit of affirmations, would you say helped me understand

Dr. Brad Miller:

how this is applied? Yeah, so

Gunther Mueller:

the way it's applied is when you make a true choice like that, it's different than probably the

Gunther Mueller:

current reality. And so the second step that we have to do is to get into the emotion of the true

Gunther Mueller:

choice. Okay, what does it feel like to be the predominant creative force in your life? What does it

Gunther Mueller:

feel like to experience optimal health and vitality? What is it? What does it really feel like to be

Gunther Mueller:

living your life and your true nature and purpose? And so what what the mind has to do? You have

Gunther Mueller:

to choose that true choice? The second step is to get into that emotion of the end results. What

Gunther Mueller:

does it actually feel like? Remember Einstein said there's intention and there's emotion. So those

Gunther Mueller:

two energy and information the energy is the emotion the feeling it like you said to be do have

Gunther Mueller:

being it now. You know, whether you pray or whether you're in a meditative space, or you have

Gunther Mueller:

some quiet time or whatever you can put together 510 15 minutes, exercising this imagination

Gunther Mueller:

muscle that we have. It literally science tells us begins to change the neural pathways in our brain,

Gunther Mueller:

physically He actually changes our brain, you've heard the expression, like you can't teach an old

Gunther Mueller:

dog new tricks, or whatever. It's not true today, science knows the neuroplasticity of the mind of

Gunther Mueller:

the brain, the actual brain. Epigenetics of the brain, the brain is constantly changing. And what

Gunther Mueller:

they know from science is that, you know, these happiness, emotions are these positive emotions.

Gunther Mueller:

When you get into the emotional, imaginative reality of what you would love to experience, it

Gunther Mueller:

literally changes the brain.

Dr. Brad Miller:

Yeah. And that's transformation that takes place that takes us out of the being stuck in the

Dr. Brad Miller:

adversity, with so many people are when bad things happen. Many people say okay, it's over with,

Dr. Brad Miller:

when COVID hit, some people say, Okay, it's over with, when cancer is over with, but you are

Dr. Brad Miller:

saying we can do something different here. So that's awesome. That's awesome. So then you've

Dr. Brad Miller:

chosen then, and this process here, got her to share this with others. You've not only you know,

Dr. Brad Miller:

you had your search of your own, and because you had, you know, your 92nd phone call, which

Dr. Brad Miller:

changed your life, then you went on your research, and you found meaningfulness out of the

Dr. Brad Miller:

magnetic mind experience. And now you're sharing it with others. Tell us how that's working out?

Dr. Brad Miller:

What are you doing to share what you're all about with other folks?

Gunther Mueller:

Well, I mean, in my work as a transformational coach, and I do business coaching, I do different

Gunther Mueller:

levels of coaching. But in the magnetic mind work, it's usually a group session, I do some one on

Gunther Mueller:

one sessions, when we get down to step four, you're gonna see we have something called a

Gunther Mueller:

magnetic mine mental recode. And this is where I believe this is a revolution in the personal

Gunther Mueller:

development space, and that we're not going back and trying to fix some aspect of ourselves. I

Gunther Mueller:

mean, even the psychology movement, you know, why do bad things always happen to me? Was

Gunther Mueller:

it my parents? Was it my schooling? Was it, some traumatic experience that I had in my life. And,

Gunther Mueller:

you know, typically, we're always going back to try to figure out what went wrong. And I'm here to

Gunther Mueller:

tell you that the more you focus on the past and trying to figure out what went wrong, guess what

Gunther Mueller:

grows, what's your

Dr. Brad Miller:

discontent Are you blame, you tend tend to blame something on your past for your present

Dr. Brad Miller:

circumstances. And the only thing you really have control on is your present state, which then

Dr. Brad Miller:

leads us towards the what's next.

Gunther Mueller:

Right, so choosing the creative stance, you know, the past is the past, maybe water under the

Gunther Mueller:

bridge, there's nothing you can do about it. So don't try to go back and fix it or who's to blame or I

Gunther Mueller:

have to heal or I have to forgive or I have to do all these kinds of things. You can, you can go that

Gunther Mueller:

But also you just feed it, put it make a deal with it appropriately, you know, you kind of deal with

Dr. Brad Miller:

it, and then set it aside. And that's my take on it. Elise, you do have to get some sense of coming

Dr. Brad Miller:

to terms personally about your past and things like that. But you got to, you don't live there

Dr. Brad Miller:

anymore. You the word I use is

you release it really is resistance,

like you said, you're stuck, or you're oscillating back and forth in place that I'm trying to get people

Gunther Mueller:

to is this flow state, we've all heard of the flow state or professional athletes live in that flow state.

Gunther Mueller:

And that's what we mean when we say we're turning thoughts into things. We've all experienced

Gunther Mueller:

flow at some point or another. It's when like, time stops, and you know, three, four hours went by

Gunther Mueller:

and you don't even know where the time went. You were so engaged in what you were doing

Gunther Mueller:

because you loved what you were doing.

Dr. Brad Miller:

And many times people feel hyper productive and hyper fulfilled during those times as well.

Gunther Mueller:

Yeah, yeah. So noticing that what is it that puts you into that flow state? And we can't be in a flow

Gunther Mueller:

state 100% of the time. So having that expectation is an unrealistic expectation. But how do you

Gunther Mueller:

get into flow more often, or flow by choice, you know, by taking the right actions or priming, the

Gunther Mueller:

mental matter that we have here in a way that it creates positive emotion, right. So the first step

Gunther Mueller:

again, was having a true choice. The second step is getting into that emotion of the end result and

Gunther Mueller:

imagining the way the way the future would be but But imagining it that it's already happened, it's

Gunther Mueller:

already present moment and the emotion of what that would feel like. The third thing really is just

Gunther Mueller:

creating a structural tension in the mind between the way it is now and the way we'd love it to be

Gunther Mueller:

the mind loves to resolve tension. So when you give it some tension to resolve the mind goes to

Gunther Mueller:

work and resolving tensions like this is the current reality. This is the way it is now. And this is the

Gunther Mueller:

desired reality. This is the way I'd love it to be. And one thing I want to insert here is that, you

Gunther Mueller:

know, the future is not necessarily going to be better than the present. Hmm, the future is just

Gunther Mueller:

going to be a different experience than the present experience. And if we can hold it that way, it

Gunther Mueller:

limits our judgment on the current reality. Right? If we can hold if we can hold the current reality

Gunther Mueller:

that we can be content with the way things are now just for a moment, not forever, but we can be

Gunther Mueller:

content with the way things are. And at the same time, the other side of the coin is to desire

Gunther Mueller:

something different

Dr. Brad Miller:

will also go there. I like to think of it in terms of those that contentment doesn't always equal

Dr. Brad Miller:

happiness. What I mean by that is, happiness can often be a momentary thing. It's a dopamine

Dr. Brad Miller:

hit. It's a, you know, it's a, you know, we hit the winning basket or whatever we hit, we play the

Dr. Brad Miller:

great song or whatever it is, but contentment is that sensibility of that the overflow is there that

Dr. Brad Miller:

we are in a good place. And I think it's what many people are seeking. You know, we live in a time

Dr. Brad Miller:

right now people talk with a great resignation, for instance, about wanting to leave whatever they

Dr. Brad Miller:

were doing, because there's unfulfilling to find fulfillment, but meet people need to find a way to

Dr. Brad Miller:

get there. And what you're sharing here the magnetic mine is one way people can can get there.

Dr. Brad Miller:

Have you had

Gunther Mueller:

the contentment, you know, the great resignation and people leaving, you know, wherever it is you

Gunther Mueller:

decide to go? Guess what, there you are? Yes. Okay.

Dr. Brad Miller:

You're still you, you're you take you with you. Yeah, you

Gunther Mueller:

take you with you. So if you were unfulfilled, and uncontested, or miserable, wherever you were,

Gunther Mueller:

guess what's going to happen where you go

Dr. Brad Miller:

until you change until you're sick, and

Gunther Mueller:

you're taking yourself right with you. So what fundamentally needs to happen is the identity

Gunther Mueller:

structure needs to be him the contentment I'm talking about is that in no matter what the current

Gunther Mueller:

reality presents to you, whether it's a COVID reality, or a place that you don't really enjoy working

Gunther Mueller:

at, the ability to achieve happiness, or positive emotions is also a choice. The priming of the mind

Gunther Mueller:

with positive emotions is a practice. And you have to choose to do that practice, you can you can

Gunther Mueller:

choose to just be reactively, negative, or you can choose to be purposefully

positive. Yes, it's a choice because it is and so becoming

Gunther Mueller:

consciously aware of that choice. And I want to call it the power to choose reclaiming the power

Gunther Mueller:

to actually choose your mindset, not in a fictitious, fraudulent way. Like when you mentioned

Gunther Mueller:

affirmations, you know, a lot of times we affirmations, we're taught to say these really positive

Gunther Mueller:

positive statements, maybe you're looking at yourself in the mirror, and you're affirming that

Gunther Mueller:

you're an amazing human being. And yet the egoic mind in your mind is knocking you down every

Gunther Mueller:

time like hey, can, I know it's not true? Come on, you're just lying to yourself yelling this stuff in the

Gunther Mueller:

mirror, right? comes up and throws cold water on that.

Dr. Brad Miller:

Because reality life does happen. Sometimes, you know, you do you know, you do try to do all the

Dr. Brad Miller:

things you can to protect yourself with vaccines or whatever, and somebody still gets sick with

Dr. Brad Miller:

COVID, whatever he does happen. So you have to have the inner life has to be be manifested in

Dr. Brad Miller:

the outer life, in some form or another. I

Gunther Mueller:

mean, it's not it's like you said, it starts in the inner life and starts with a choice. And it starts about,

Gunther Mueller:

okay, if I were to be able to manifest and create that choice, in my mind and think, think of our

Gunther Mueller:

Olympic athletes and people that break world records, they do more than 50% of their work and

Gunther Mueller:

training in their mind. They do some, you know, on the track and the swimming pool, were on the

Gunther Mueller:

ski slope, whatever they're doing, but it's here they have seen themselves, they have experienced

Gunther Mueller:

themselves breaking the world record receiving the gold medal,

Dr. Brad Miller:

and not only seeing themselves but also the going into the emotional state. That's right, going to

Dr. Brad Miller:

whatever the the the connection, not only personally but like, you know, hey, if I break that world

Dr. Brad Miller:

record, you know, I want to see my mom and the stands you know, yelling for me, or I want to you

Dr. Brad Miller:

know, get that big hug and kiss from my girlfriend or whatever it is, you know, they they go even

Dr. Brad Miller:

tangibly to those those places and want to feel that, that emotion and that's

Gunther Mueller:

what we need to do. So whatever current reality we are faced with we always have the power and

Gunther Mueller:

the ability to go into this imagined and a state to choose the way we would love it to be the

Gunther Mueller:

choose the way we would love our life experience to be whether it's in meaning and fulfillment or

Gunther Mueller:

creating a life that you love, or health and vitality or abundance, or more money or whatever it is

Gunther Mueller:

you desire. Right, whatever that desire is the desire does not have to be justified. You don't need

Gunther Mueller:

permission to have that desire. You want it simply because you want it, you simply want it. Now,

Gunther Mueller:

we've not been taught that because especially in our social media culture right now, we check

Gunther Mueller:

with all of our friends, before we make a decision, are they going to approve of our decision? Are

Gunther Mueller:

they going to bless our pathway in life that we're choosing? Are they going to knock it down?

Gunther Mueller:

Right? Right. So for anybody listening right now, this is this is one of the key pieces that a true

Gunther Mueller:

choice or a true end result is something that really comes from a place of, I would love to

Gunther Mueller:

experience that no matter what anyone else thinks my family, friends, you know, social media

Gunther Mueller:

followers or anything like that, it is a true choice. Because it's something you would love to

Gunther Mueller:

experience, something you would love,

Dr. Brad Miller:

you got to own it, you got to own that you really want this, it's not just because everyone else

Dr. Brad Miller:

wants whatever it is, they're you know what everyone else wants to have, you know, be the social

Dr. Brad Miller:

media star, or the Kardashians, or whatever it is. But I gotta be true to me true to me, and what

Dr. Brad Miller:

you're doing here, and what you're teaching here is helpful to people.

Gunther Mueller:

The number one thing that I get from some new clients, when I ask them, What do you want? You

Gunther Mueller:

know what the number one answer is back?

Dr. Brad Miller:

Happiness. Here,

Gunther Mueller:

it's well, I don't really know.

Dr. Brad Miller:

Now, yeah. Well, how are you

Gunther Mueller:

going to create a life that you love? If you don't know what that life consists of?

Dr. Brad Miller:

The first step is getting any clarity about what you want. Very clear

Gunther Mueller:

clarity. Like if I was going to bake a chocolate cake, I know that I need some flour, I need some

Gunther Mueller:

chocolate, I need you know, the ingredients to bake my chocolate cake. If I'm missing some of the

Gunther Mueller:

agreement ingredients. Is it going to be a chocolate cake that I love? Yeah, probably not. That's

Gunther Mueller:

not going to come out the way it's supposed to come out. But so imagining and being in that

Gunther Mueller:

space, and really seeing and in Technicolor and granular detail, what the life you would love to

Gunther Mueller:

experience and actually visualizing it and being part of it as often as possible. And then beginning

Gunther Mueller:

to focus on that, that what you want, not what you don't want, you know, people if I ask them,

Gunther Mueller:

what don't you want? Well, I don't want to be broke. I don't wanna be homeless, I don't want to be

Gunther Mueller:

alone. I don't want to be I don't I don't want healthy. I don't want to get cancer. I don't want to get

Gunther Mueller:

sick. Everybody's really clear on what they don't want.

Dr. Brad Miller:

Sure, sure. Well, that's like a that's even a counseling technique that I've used before go through.

Dr. Brad Miller:

I've been privileged to counsel lots and lots of people over my 40 years of ministry. And one

Dr. Brad Miller:

technique I use sometimes is to simply three questions. And I give, you have to have a different

Dr. Brad Miller:

answer every time it says, first question is, what do you want? The second question is, what do you

Dr. Brad Miller:

want? The third question is, what do you want to have? And it challenges them to go deeper every

Dr. Brad Miller:

time? Because I gotta give a different answer. Then the fourth question is, what are you going to

Dr. Brad Miller:

do about it? Because they are forced to do that. So let's talk for a second now about what you

Dr. Brad Miller:

help people do, then. What I'm after here now is you've been sharing this teaching with other

Dr. Brad Miller:

people. I'd really like to hear basically a testimonial go through if someone you've worked with or

Dr. Brad Miller:

some situation you've worked with, where you've seen the magnetic mind experience and become

Dr. Brad Miller:

a conscious creator. Yeah.

Gunther Mueller:

Yeah. One of my favorite testimonials, and this is more short term because we live in a microwave

Gunther Mueller:

society. And we want immediate results and immediate graduation results and gratification right

Gunther Mueller:

away. So one of the clients that I got to work with was living in an island area, right, so on an

Gunther Mueller:

island, and she had a home where her roof was leaking, and was causing problems. And she

hadn't made up in her mind when I met her that there was only one person on the island that was

able to fix her roof in a proficient manner, right, good, good workmanship and fair price and all

that kind of stuff. And there was some altercation there was something in that relationship that

Gunther Mueller:

was creating resistance or a blockage from her being able to use this one particular individual.

Gunther Mueller:

And so in my work with her all's I said was, Is it possible that there is someone else that can

Gunther Mueller:

complete this thing that you need done? Meaning don't get ripped off? Good workmanship? Is is it

Gunther Mueller:

possible that there's someone else on this Caribbean island that could serve you? And the answer

Gunther Mueller:

has to be that question will sure it's, it has to be possible. It's possible right? So you're getting to

Gunther Mueller:

the point of believing that something is possible. And we went through a recode we went through

Gunther Mueller:

the five steps she took the fifth step is taking obvious action. She owed this particular individual

Gunther Mueller:

some money she the next day went and delivered the check. She had some issue with the guy's

Gunther Mueller:

door against stuff like that. Also, she ignored the dog walk to the door and deliver the check and

Gunther Mueller:

solve that problem, whatever. And then within three days, her phone rang with a completely

Gunther Mueller:

different resource that was able to solve her problem for a fair price. And that which she desired,

Gunther Mueller:

because the true choice was, I just need my roof fixed. I rainy season, I need my roof fixed. And he

Gunther Mueller:

had done well. And I, because I'm a woman, I don't want to get screwed or ripped off. She was the

Gunther Mueller:

true end result. That was the experience that she wanted. And that's the fastest one that I've ever

Dr. Brad Miller:

Dr. Brad Miller:

worked. Yeah. Well, that's, that's far more time. Because otherwise, what the alternative would be,

Dr. Brad Miller:

she could have been stuck for all the rainy season with a leaky roof, and go on and on and just

Dr. Brad Miller:

whine and complain about it and not get anything done. So what I'm about is, I'd love to have a

Dr. Brad Miller:

process you're going through where people can find a way to get unstuck, you know, the malaise

Dr. Brad Miller:

of mediocrity, it gets something done, and you help provide it for us. So if, if people want to find
